called USCIS on jan 4th, they said they are scheduling, it will take 3 weeks to get the notice, till now nothing.
called yesterday again, this time they said 45 days. Opened SR. I am hearing no use with SR. Not sure what is going on?
Meanwhile, i gave this procedure to a freind and they got notices.
Can anybody tell me if there will be an LUD on i-485 when they issue a FP notice?

Usually it is a maximum of 2 weeks. NSC approved some in 2 days.
FP notice in a month or so..
EAD 90 days minimum I guess. I don't know about the other one as I live in MI. we do not need anything like that here.

I know this might have been discussed but when is the RD if the application is moved (by uscis) from NSC to TSC?
My I140 was approved by TSC sometime back. My 485/EAD/AP were sent to NSC in first/second week of July. Finally got the receipt last week. The receipt says that my application is received on Sept 5th - which is not true (it was sent in JULY); based on this notice it seems they are recording the RD as the day when they enter the application details in their system and not the day when it is actually physically received by them.
I thought its other way round based on FAQ. Am I missing something? is it worth calling them on this? Thanks.

No one can force you to work for them. If there is no breakage clause, then the agreement will not stand in court. Issue is when there is a breakage clause. If there is a breakage clause, you may either have to fight it or suck it up and pay the amount (as long as it is a basis for the amount - just saying "pay $10K if you leave the job" will not stand in court either).
Usual disclaimer is - this is not legal advice. Consult a lawyer for good legal advice.

We filed on July 20 to NSC. CSC acknowledged the receipt on September 19. On 9/21 we recd a notice from CSC stating that our cases are transferred to NSC. However EAD and AP applications are still being proceesed by CSC. Just recd an e-mail that EAD card production ordered.

When some one decides to apply AC21 by having an offer from another employer, it is not clear if one is required to inform USCIS about it. Some say one should, others say, not required. Has anyone seen any USCIS position on it? If not, perhaps we should make this as a question for next Ombudsman's conference call.

If you download the 485 form from the following url and go to page six, it states
"The check or money order should be made payable to theDepartment of Homeland Security"
I believe previously it used to be USCIS. Now what I dont know is if they will accept checks made for USCIS or not.

employer. I know many cases like this, people approach these Bodyshoppers to get H1, or to convert H4 to H1..... many pay even H1 processing fees(which is illegal)..... just pray that after getting H1 they will get some project and the employer will pay....... they won't dare to ask employer.... becoz he can just revoke H1 and just be done with it...... many many cases....

I don't know how you have calclated that. As far as I remember seeing various threads on this forum, there are atleast 5-6K EB3 in 2002 and similar number in 2003 for India. Considering 2.5 number used per family I an guessing we need atleast 20-25K Green card numbers for EB3 to move beyond 2003. With just 3300 EB3 available per year, my guess is it'll take 4-5 years for cuttoff dates to go past 2003. I may be pesimistic, but this country's immigration system has taking all optimism out of our American dream...

I believe it is really a nice surprise if we see the card rather than customary bunch mails.

Do a search on Dice with Citizen as the keyword. You will find lot of openings with Citizen and GC only requirement.
