It is precisely this type of ignorance and reluctance to address the real issues by both sides of the issue that makes our predicament so difficult to fix(as with many other policy issues that need fixing in this country). It is an almost insurmountable feat to get the policy makers and even the debaters on this issue to distinguish between the issues of illegal immigration and legal immigration in this country. This obfuscation is not by accident but by clear intent to serve each their specific interests.
Were that not the case, why don't these "we need to stand by the rule of law" enforcement types, call for an improvement in the situation for those "who have followed the law", simply put, it is only convenient for them to say that when they are speaking about the illegals, but alas they are against us legals as well................. so how can they ask anyone to believe that they are anything but anti immigrant period.
The pro immigrant guys blur the distinction specifically because they consider us a sweetener in the deal no less and no more they really don't consider the way we came any better or worse than the way others arrived, it is simply either all or none for them.
A rational policy that the American people can be asked to accept IMHO would involve, strict enforcement both at the border and interior at multiple sites including workplace, policies to alleviate the plight of the legals to demonstrate that way is rewarded and finally a strict case by case evaluation of illegals where some are given amnesty(if they have US children, spouse, lived here over X number of years and can prove it etc) Some will have to be made to have to leave to demonstrate that illegal behavior is not condoned or rewarded, be they Mexicans, Indians or Irish.
Alas, this cannot and will not be done due to the cowardice OF BOTH SIDES of this debate. Cowardice is sadly now changing to outright disdain for immigrants and that is sad in this great country of immigrants. Now the obfuscation will see a backlash emerging against us legals as well.

Like the original poster, I too am in the US for more than 11 years (12th year about to complete)
I too had my PPD test (skin test for TB) come out positive but i don't know exactly how big the size was.
I just came from a civil surgeon who said that i might have to undergo the treatment for it if the size was above 10 mm. He also said that i will have to be retested for it if we don't find the reports of the size when this was done earlier. My PCP had mentioned that there is no point it getting the test done again.
I had submitted my medical exam records with my 484 application in July 2007. I wonder if USCIS is trying to boost the economy by trying to get us go for the medical again? (my lawyer says to go to the doctor and get a medical exam done again would be the most practical and quickest way to respond to the RFE.

Verify your G-325 application form properly especially the employment history you provided. My wife also got the similar RFE early this year due to technical error that we made in G325 form. (My wife applied for H1 but she did not worked through that company mean while she got her EAD then started working for another company, Which voided H1-B, In G-325 we mentioned that she was working from July 2007 but her H1 is valid from October so Officer might have thought that she worked illegally for 3 months) .
We provided w2's, pay stubs and amended G325 etc to prove that she did not worked on her H1 or illegally.

December visa bulletin is out and everybodys knows what they are in for. Truth is always bitter.
Joy and happiness of EAD's/AP's have turned sour. The reality is out. This bulletin has shown us what kind of time line we can expect to get our GC's. It's no more 1-2 years as people think and lawyers have been saying. Its years and years of wait.
Folks this is the time to fight it out. Lets fight for ourselves.
The first step in doing so is meeting lawmwkers. We need to educate the lawmakers of our problems. Till the time they dont understand, how can we expect any kind of relief from them.
The whole idea is to highlight our problem. If we dont highlight it, then noone is going to do anything for us.
There is no more spoon feeding. Now we need to rise for ourselves. Either its time to do something or the old choice of hiding inside the closet
Lets take a step forward in making everyone aware of our problems. Lets strengthen the state chapters. With a good base we can build up momentum and get more coverage for our issue.
Think about it.
Go IV Go. Together we can.

Guys this is not a post to project your problems. This is the post to build up support and encourage immigration voice to plan a campaign to address current backlogs and future backlogs which will sent in after August. Please build up support instead of asking questions. It is almost obvious the situation is not gonna improve in october, but it will go worse!!!

wow..this is probably the first time DOL has presented the data in such a nice manner..
it should be a slap on the face of all those who oppose skilled immigration,saying that most of the h1bs work for indian outsourcing companies for miserable pay..
This data completely contradicts that myth..out of the top 10 companies that filed for labor in 07..9 are american and 50% or more have a graduate degree..

Yes forwarded the copy to the lawyer this morning.I have an appointment with lawyer Friday morning regarding this..So for lawyer office didn't received anything from uscis.
Here is my backround
1)Worked for Company A from 2003 to 2008.
2)Company A applied I-140 and approved April 2006. AOS 485 filed on July 2007. Got EAD but never used it
3)September 2008 I have Joined employer “B” by transferring H1B (Valid until Aug 21st 2010).
4)Employer A revoked 140 which triggered 485 denials in October 2008.
5)Applied MTR and it was approved in NOVEMBER 2008 and 485 re-opened.
This is the only major concern I have.Though I have approved MTR and 485 re-opened, but my online status of 485 still showing denied.
My AP approved last month.......my wife EAD,AP approved last month.I am the primary..strange
I know I have moderate control over this situation.Just having good faith & hope.This whole thing H1-B,DL,GC,EAD,AP & visa stamping ..etc what a pain for some people.Very sad.For uscis error(485 denial wrongly) I am not only lost money( closee to 5k) also lost "n" no of days of sleep back in 2008 and now :mad:

I am a June filer (2003 PD)... My GC was approved in Sept 07. My wifes is still pending. Send application on the same day, FP done together etc... Go figure!:rolleyes:
Sept 07! Did you enquire with them as you should now be eligible to ask them since its already sixty days have past since you got your GC!

Thanks again. What threw me was that even though the detail was blown there was lots of colour. It is not like when it gets blown to white by direct sunlight.
The shot we are all talking about was originally in RAW, by the way.
