I would like to clarify a few things possibly misunderstood lately.
Firstly, IV core and all volunteers are fully aware and DO acknowledge that CIR, as we know today, is headed to its grave. Unless something new happens of political significance, all experts have ruled of reform before elections in November.
Secondly, IV core never has and never will bet on one bill. We have said that before and we say that again. CIR is not the only bill we are looking at for passing reforms that provide relief to legal hi-skills immigrants. We will look at the next opportunity to introduce our provisions in and are not going to sit around and wait for elections to come an go. And that means any bill. PACE, SKIL, immigration related, competitiveness related - ANYTHING.
Thirdly, no matter with IV or QGA does, or anybody does, a bill related to immigration is not going to be tabled on the House or Senate floor BEFORE CIR is officially dead. As long as CIR is even slightly in the picture, an immigration legislation will not be scheduled on Senate or House. That simply is not going to happen even if we hire 100 lobbyists and send million webfaxes. CIR has to go away first before Bill Frist or John Boehner puts another immigration bill on the schedule.
However, if CIR dies, we and other organizations like us will spare no time in making efforts to put something on schedule - from house side or senate side.

As mentioned in my earlier post, address on my husband's I-485 was changed by USCIS system wrongly to attorney's address. We were wondering whether the documents went to old address or attorney and thank god our attorney has received it today and we will get it tomorrow. As for me and my son, still waiting...

I guess I saw a mistake on the writing....
On July 13th, 2007, DoS provided a glimmer of hope to these aspiring legal immigrants, by announcing in their visa bulletin (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3258.html) that all Employment-based green card applicants and their dependents would be eligible to apply for their Green cards, during the month of July 2007
It is June 13th not July13th the first visa bulletin sent out by DoS.

whats funny in that. As you said it is just a prediction...
The guy Affirmatively said "It will be June 2002" and gave me red because the dates i gave were behind , Ithought it was funny because we are all playing the prediction game.....
I am thinking if I should i start a game to predict the dates, and who ever gets closest date will get few greens..... ;)

My I-140 applied on july 13 2007 at NSC Transferred to TSC on 07/23/2007.
I-485/EAD/AP applied for me and my wife on 08/07/2007 at NSC per USCIS current filing instructions based on area where we live.

My I-485 was mailed on June 1'st. Attorney haven't received receipts yet.
But my checks to USCIS got cashed yesterday. There are two numbers starting with SRC......but I dont know why there are two numbers instead of one.

It is correct. We are talking about both kinds of kids. And saying that not having greencard affects the quality of life for the family.

I can very well relate to your desperation and anger, but please don't react emotionally. The legal or technical fact remains that no-one guranteed us GC and truth of the matter is most of us said "No" when immigration officer asked " do you have plans to settle in State?" So their is no question of equitable treatment.
. No Sir, I can't say thier is conspiracy as I know of none. As of us doing favor? ... is completly wrong, we all knew what and why we are coming here for. Had we had better choice we would have opted for that. Let's be honest to ourselves.

After 2005, I changed my mind and we had applied twice (me and my spouse) and hence we marked yes on the question whether any immigrant application was filed on our behalf. No we did not lie there. And even if many people did, do you think those who come from Europe or visa free countries mark "yes" when they apply first time? So your point is moot there. Most people from visa free countries come here work here visa free and go back. They never even get asked a question. How come we get fingerprinted, photographed twice, interrogated twice and yet targeted when it comes to GC?
I am not against capitalism but I am against fighting injustice such as you dont get GC because you were born in India. And yes change will come but if we dont do anything we get nothing.

Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On August 8, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
Hope I will receive GC soon. Haven't got CPO mails/status yet.

well, really I dont have words to express what frustration means, so be it. my PD is Nov 2003 (original Labor) and filed 485 in June 2004 and have 7 EAD cards thus far.
Started to work on EAD since 2005.
This is my 11th year in this country, never tried to do labor substitution always was and is a legal and law abiding since I came to this country on H1, despite changing jobs been as a developer since then - till now.
This GC process got me grey very soon, unsure if I become bald. This is the state of legal immigration in this country, God bless.

In your analogy you are forgetting the company (USCIS) still promoted that Test Lead to Manager even though he wants all those benefits from the very first day(INA law).
In other words it is a law per USCIS! So stop cribbing because it doesnt suit you.

My friends check encashed today from TSC. His Attorney send application (6/20) to NSC and received there on 6/21.
So long way to go... I am not sure next weekend estimate will also hold good for July 2nd filer. :) Don't kill yourself and it will not make it faster.:D :D :D
Most of the applications are going to NSC but TSC is the one which is slow. I do not understand the reason. It seems their boss (Mr. Gonzales) sits in NSC, so they do not do any work. Does any one have any idea why TSC is so slow.
If it goes like this, it will take a century to get EAD and AP itself.
Just venting out my frustration...:mad:
