My husband also got welcome e-mail mentioning about ADIT processing but when he received his card there was no information regarding ADIT processing, should we do anything about it? We have no clue, please help!!!

on 8/16 - Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident. On August 16, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. I took a printout of the receiver's signature image and the tracking information from the Fedex website just in case.
My attorney also mentioned that he submitted my case to the NSC liaison (I think he is referring to the AILA liaison of the NSC center) for follow up to see if they can help confirm the status of my application.
I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Just by becoming depressed the process will not get expedited..The process will take its own time so just forget and pray and enjoy your life.Life is much more than GC and getting depressed just for it and not sensical.It is not a life and death matter.Make your and dont spread it to your family...

I am wondering none of these senators who responded as of now understand our request for adding the provision of recapturing unused visas. Please read below response from IOWA senator and not even one word about our request.

Its amazing how this community reacts to these set backs. For last few months I have been consistently seeing people with EB-3 complaining and pleading to the community to come together and join hands to eliminate the country cap. But most of the words fell of dumb ears. Most of the EB-2 members did read the pleads and requests, but did not bother to take and concrete actions or even comment on it.
Now that the EB-2 is regrogressed to 2000, suddenly all the EB-2 members jump in. What happened, friends?
This is plain selfishness - on the part for few lil stratured people. They should be ashamed of themselves or even to comment on these forums and come up with ideas.
The point is not to divide the community, but to emphasize on unity! Though we belong to different EB categories, we need to work together and realize the pain of the community as a whole instead of taking it individually.
Well my hopes are pretty low from this community, infact hopeless. But I did take the pain to create the dummy username to point this bigotry of some of our useless members, who are among us.
Please don't care for our betterment - we have and would manage without the help of you BS people.

Additionally , I saw a post about "5 reasons to not contribute" that was a gud one. I will bump that one up ...I am surprised that we cant get a 1000 people to contribute some money..An avg of $50 will get us beyond $50,000 (Obviously we dont need even 1000 people because many will contribute 100 or more) ..There just too many leaches who wait for others to do thier job..

Hi All,
I got mine and my wife green cards on 21st august, Thursday.
Our case was approved on August 12th.
According to the trend I have seen it takes about 1.5 weeks to get your greencard in hand from the day you get the card production email.
Went to the Social Security office on 22nd. (I had actually calculated the day when I would get the cards looking at the trend on IV, so I had planned for it.)
The moment they see the GC (with a replacement card application of course) they know what to do. I think they do it very frequently.
Should get the new Social Security cards (which do NOT have a line at the top that says DHS authorization required to work), in a week or so.
Also I got I-131 DENIED email 2 days after my 485 was approved (I had applied for renewal). Yesterday got the letter form USCIS in the mail for the denial of I-131.

Was your I-140 approved also at NSC? Maybe that's the reason why you have an NSC receipt. My I-140 was approved from TSC.....

My sincere apologies for being harsh on IV members, I sincerely appreciate the efforts.
I guess Oct bulletin (EB3 - I) got me going there...
I realize it's not fair to criticize when I am just sitting on the sidelines and not contributing to the cause.

I sent mine on June 1st....nothing yet.
on june 6th the immigration.com breaking new claims there is a backlog of receipt for up to 45 days.
I am expecting to get mine at least by june 30th because with the flood of applications on july first....whoi knows

Seperate effort.. what will you do in that.. again a back bench behind the alias pushing others to do something, without donating or contributing. If we have someone with leadership qualities and wants to use some social networking site for discussing EB3 issues and identifying approaches to solve the EB3 issues, there will be many EB3 folks willing to support the effort. Immivoice is just useless portal, it doesn't have open forums and the core folks here don't care for EB3. In fact, their lobbying efforts were behind USCIS changing the rule for spilling over the unused visa numbers to EB2 first. Just my 2 cents.
